About the event
"Embark on your journey into long-range precision with our dynamic One and a Half-Day Course, designed for shooters of all backgrounds. In this Level 1 class, running from 8 AM to 5 PM on the first day and 8 AM to 1 PM on the second day, students will grasp the fundamentals of long-range marksmanship and cultivate practice techniques to enhance their effective range.
Course Highlights:
- Selecting components and electronics for successful long-range shooting
- Optics demystified: First Focal Plane, 2nd Focal Plane, MOA, Mil
- Proper scope leveling and the significance of a bubble level on your rifle
- Max effective range and terminal performance on game
- Mastering marksmanship techniques: trigger press, breathing, and follow-through
- Understanding internal and external ballistics
- Effective use of a ballistics solver
- Unveiling G1 and G7 ballistic profiles
- Grasping barrel twist rate and bullet stabilization
- Factory ammunition vs. hand-loaded ammunition
- Introduction to wind reading techniques
- Techniques to true velocity and BC

- Day One: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Day Two: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
