Mountain Marksmanship School

Embark on an all-inclusive adventure at our 2-day Mountain Marksmanship School, where lodging at the scenic Flying Spear Outfitters base camp and delicious meals are all part of the package. Nestled around the main fire pit, our cozy cabins offer a comfortable retreat after a day of learning. Practice your precision at our 100-yard sight-in range or venture to our training range, accessible by Ranger, boasting targets up to 1 mile away. Finally, put your skills to the test on our Hunter Course, navigating simulated hunting scenarios with life-size reactive animal targets to hone your shooting prowess.

Course Highlights:

• Selecting components and electronics for successful long-range shooting
• Optics demystified: First Focal Plane, 2nd Focal Plane, MOA, Mil
• Proper scope leveling and the significance of a bubble level on your rifle
• Max effective range and terminal performance on game
• Mastering marksmanship techniques: trigger press, breathing, and follow-through
• Understanding internal and external ballistics
• Effective use of a ballistics solver
• Unveiling G1 and G7 ballistic profiles
• Grasping barrel twist rate and bullet stabilization
• Factory ammunition vs. hand-loaded ammunition
• Introduction to wind reading techniques
• Techniques to true velocity and BC

• Day One: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Day Two: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Prices:

• $1,200 - At this price, you are still included in the all-inclusive experience, but you are required to bring your own equipment. you must meet all the absolute required gear.
• $1,500 - With this price you don't only get the full all-inclusive package, but a full provided kit. The kit includes everything in the Required Gear list. All the products you are given are rentals and not for you to keep.
